OxygenOS 12 onwards, local upgrade needs extra steps. On EU/Indian builds, you need to enable Android's built-in developer options: Settings -> About device -> Version and tap Build number 7 times. If you're on a global build, or if it still doesn't show up in the usual place, or if it doesn't work for you, you'll need to install a separate app. Choose any, they're all provided by OnePlus: - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OPLoca [...] roid12.apk (source: https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1502946) - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OPLoca [...] ndroid.apk (source: https://community.oneplus.com/threa [...] 948947970) - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlus_tools.apk (source: https://community.oneplus.com/threa [...] 795955204) - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/English_20220225101104.apk (source: https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1555039) - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/output [...] 143830.apk (source: https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1592950) Find it in your app drawer after installing, it should be labelled “System update” or “MyApplication2”. The first two target SDK 29 (Android 10), so they may install on older OOS versions too. The others target SDK 31 (Android 12), meaning they can't be installed on older OOS versions. Note: in case any of the above APKs download as a ZIP/JAR, replace the extension at the end with “.apk” in your file manager. Also, make sure you've enabled “Install unknown apps” for whatever app you're opening either of these APKs from. Find this in Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Special app access -> Install unknown apps. We recommend granting this permission only to very few applications, e.g. just the file manager or your browser.
