 Two women who destroyed a 9ft phallic symbol say they did it to spare others.?I think that women or men who are walking to class should not be subjected to a penis,? said Amy Keel. ?It was a structure put up to assert male dominance.?
   
Keel went on to say: ?It wasn?t anyone?s private property; it was snow,? and destroying the monument was not: "impeding anyone?s free speech.? The student body held a meeting to discuss the event and the freedom of speech aspect of the giant penis.    
 ?I don?t think we have a right to take down things that offend us,? said the student union co-president. ?We have to put up posters to the contrary.? The group talked about actions that could have taken place instead, like building a snow vagina.
