Citation :

Ubuntu Linux: Since it is not possible to provide a safe patch in a short time, HyperThreading has been disabled in the updated kernel packages for now. You can manually enable HyperThreading again by passing the kernel parameter "ht=on" at boot. [Quoted from Ubuntu Security Notice USN-131-1.]

Toujours sûr de vouloir l'HT ? :D

acpi=ht > niet.
ht=on > nada!

... toujours CPU: Hyper-Threading is disabled :sweat:

title  Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.12-9-686-smp
root  (hd0,4)
kernel  /vmlinuz-2.6.12-9-686-smp root=/dev/hda7 [acpi=ht / acpismp=force / ht=on] ro quiet
initrd  /initrd.img-2.6.12-9-686-smp
savedefault
boot

title  Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.12-9-686-smp (recovery mode)
root  (hd0,4)
kernel  /vmlinuz-2.6.12-9-686-smp root=/dev/hda7 ro single
initrd  /initrd.img-2.6.12-9-686-smp
boot

title  Ubuntu, memtest86+
root  (hd0,4)
kernel  /memtest86+.bin
boot

:sweat:
