Hi all,
 
J'ai récemment changé de carte graphique !
Donc j'ai aussi changer de driver puisque j'ai changé de fabricant de chip !
J'ai donc logiquement modifié mon XF86config mais celui-ci n'est pas pris en compte et je tourne avec les drivers generique !
 
Que faire ?

j'ai un petit utilitaire de ATI qui me dit que le driver en cours d'utilisation est mesa alors que normalement c'est le fabricant !!

c'est pas le XF86Config-4 qu'il faut modifier avec xfree4.x ?

si c'est ça mais c'est pas ça qui est en cause !

J'ai eu le meme probleme j'ai viré le XF86Config-4 à la main en suite j'ai fais un

et il ma repris mon XF86Config-4 en compte. Bourrin mais efficace.

il est surement sur x.org. Et si ce n'est pas le cas il devrait.

goldyfruit j'essaierais ta methode ce soir en rentrant du taf
cette méthode me paressait bourrin effectivement c'est pour ça que je l'ai pas faite
mais bon si ça marche ...

pour les performances. Pour une config traditionnelle. Je ne m'avance pas pour les config particulières

À tous les coups la configuration de X n'a rien à voir là-dedans, c'est la libGL qui ne doit pas pointer sur le bon fichier.

J'en sais rien, je suppose que comme pour nvidia y'a un hack immonde pour remplacer le fichier de Mesa.

c'est quand meme fou ça non ?
ya pas un moyen de refaire une installation à l'arrache ?
