Camescope numerique sous mandriva

Je souhaiterais savoir comment il est possible de connecter un camescope numérique sous linux par USB? J'ai un Sony. Quelqu un connait deux  trois bon logiciels pour faire du montae vidéos simplement?

Pour connecter un camescope numérique en USB je ne sais pas mais je peux te conseiller d'acheter une carte firewire, même la moins chère (une trentaine d'euro sur ldlc). Ensuite tu pourras faire l'acquisition avec kino, monter avec cinelerra et encoder avec avidemux.

branche là et vois si cela marche.
 
Pour cela,  
+ tu ouvres un terminal
 
+ tu deviens root dans ce terminal avec al commande suivante :


su -


 
+ ensuite tu affiches les journaux du système


tail -f /var/log/messages


 
+ tu regardes ce qui s'affiche et tu branches ta caméra.
+ tu regardes si de nouveaux messages s'affichent et notamment si la caméra semble être détectée.
 
+ tu postes les messages qui se sont affichés icisi tu ne sais pas trop ce qu'ils signifient.

bonjour j'ai lu avec attention votre conversation et comme j'ai le même pb je me suis dis que vous pourriez peut-être m'aider. Pour info je suis sous mandriva et j'ai un camescope Sony handycam DCR-DVD201E que je branche en USB.
 
J'espère que vous pourrez m'aider car si cela marche il y aura 2 ordis en plus sous mandriva (==>> 2 windowiensen moins)

Je cherche aussi une réponse a ce problème.
 
J'ai un PC sous ubuntu et mon caméscope est un sony DCR-DVD203E : Il ne peut être connecté QUE via USB (pas de connecteur firewire sur le caméscope).
 
Il semble être bien détecté par ubuntu, qui visiblement n'arrive pas a lire ce qu'il y a dessus.
 
Voila le log qui va bien ... cela inspire-t-il quelqu'un ? :

bon il suffit que le dvd soit finalisé et il est parfaitement accessible ( de l'interet des RW :o )

Le firewire des camescopes, c'est pour les modèles en DV.
Pour les camescopes sur DVD, c'est du MPEG 2. Adios DV.
