je vais vous raconter ma petite histoire , hier en sortant de chez moi je vois un carton d ordinateur sony (VAIO) en m avancant je m apercois qu il y a l ordi dedans ... je regarde bien le mec a pris juste le disque dur , la ram et le proco et le lecteur cd ...bref il reste la carcasse avec l ecran Intacte + la carte mere +alimentation+ le clavier  ..

J aimerais me servir de l ecran , le truc c est qu il faut que je fabrique un cable vga moi meme et l alimente.  
A la base il est alimente par la carte mere d origine et l image ossi ... Je ne sais pas comment m y prendre!
Si il y a besoin de foto pour vous aidez n hesiter pas.. je sais pas par ou commencer et sa serai c** de le jeter ..
je m addresse ici sur hardware.fr car jai vu pas mal de mec qui sont de gros bricoleur et qui sy connaissent pas mal en electronic ! merci de m aider les gars !

pffff.. pourquoi ça n'arrive qu'aux autres ces trucs là?
Sinon, pour ton problème, pourquoi est-ce que tu ne branche pas l'écran sur une carte vidéo classique?

parce que les embouts ne corresponde pas .. look les images que j ai prises !

oui mais j'ai du mal avec ce genre de trucs^^ dsl!
Donc je laisse place aux pros!

Sur la photo "embout", tu as une carte qui joue le role de THT pour le retroeclairage de l'ecran et la connectique (je pense que c'est du LVDS mais pas sur... il faut la marque de l'ecran pour en etre sur).
 
Si c'est le cas, tu seras contraint d'acheter un convertisseur DVI/LVDS qui est pas donné
 
A condition que l'ecran soit operationnel, il suffit de faire le cable et ca marchera.

Trouver la documentation du circuit sur internet ou directement transmise par le fournisseur... car la je n'ai rien trouvé .. mais je te le dis c'est faisable.

Pour des interfaces pour des ecran LVDS<->VGA LVDS<->DVI  il existe un distributeur situé a creteil Syscom electronique  => 01 43 77 84 88   Voila

For Your information, in order to help you in the best way, we need the complete construtor reference to understand the pinout and the current output for your backlight.
 
If the current is too light, your backlight don't turn on.
 
Have you in your possession the datasheet of the hitachi display ?!

thank u for the response. i would like to speak in french but i can't sorry i am german. i am looking for all of them. if i could find the datasheet for this tft panel (hitachi TX38D88VC1GAB) it wouldn't be so hard to find the compatible backlight inverter (smile)., i saw that lolmister have the same display with a pretty small backlight inverter

backlight signifie rétroéclairage, c'est donc le "néon" qui illumine l'écran, mais également l'électronique qui se trouve en amont. (généralement un petit pcb de forme très allongée avec d'un côté un connecteur à 2 points qui va vers le tube fluorescent et de l'autre un connecteur de 5 à 10 pins qui sert à l'asservissement/alimentation. C'est plutôt le PCB qui intéresse notre ami d'outre rhin.

I don't know if it will help you but I've found a list of Sony Vaio "laptops" here: http://www.lcdpart.com/doc/laptopinverter.html
 
They list a "substitute replacement inverter" and 3 original references.
 
Hitachi's japanese website also lists 2 inverters for TX38* but not for this particular reference.
