Bonjour, je viens de faire l'acquisition d'un PC portable Acer E5-573G-58JB et viens d'y installer une Gentoo.
 
Apparemment je m'en suis pas trop mal sorti pour l'instant, mais arrivé sur l'écran de connexion sddm gros problème: ni le touchpad ni le clavier ne fonctionne :??:
 
J'ai pourtant l'impression d'avoir tout bien configuré (evdev et synaptics activé en useflag), donc je ne comprends pas :??:
 
Merci d'avance pour toute aide... ou pistes...  :jap:
 
Edit: il semble qu'en fait le clavier fonctionne, car j'arrive à passer en sessions tty avec ctrl+alt+F1-9 ...
 
C'est juste qu'il ne permet pas d'entrer de texte si je ne bouge pas le pointeur, or le pointeur... est inexistant. Il semble que le touchpad ne soit pas du tout géré (même avec gpm en console il ne fonctionne pas)  :??:

Re edit: j'ai branché une souris USB et j'ai pu entrer les identifiants, mais l'écran de connexion reste quand même... ça m'a juste transformé le pointeur en croix noire :??:
 
Bon finalement la connexion s'est faite (sur plasma), mais le touchpad ne fonctionne pas (il semble qu'il ne soit pas du tout reconnu :??:)

Re, finalement le clavier et la souris même USB ne fonctionne plus, après avoir testé le pilote libre (nouveau) puis être revenu au proprio...
 
Je n'y comprends rien :/ en console avant de lancer xdm le clavier et la souris USB fonctionne, puis une fois sur sddm plus rien :??:
 
En dernier là, je viens de suivre ce tutoriel: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/NVIDIA/Optimus
 
Sauf que je ne peux pas mettre le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf vu que ça empêche xdm de se lancer.

Bon, après 1 mois de recherche, une évidence s'impose: jme suis fait ba|ser: cet ordi est incompatible avec Linux, j'ai restauré Windows 10, problème résolu. Heureusement que c'est le PC de ma femme et pas le mien :D

E5-573G-58JB est compatible Linux: j'ai installé Fedora Core avec le live que j'ai "gravé" en usb avec la commande dd: nickel !
 
Bon j'aurais préféré Gentoo, mais ce n'est que partie remise ;)

J'ai eu cette machine elle est parfaitement compatible    Merci d'apprendre le vocabulaire ....
 
incompatible != j'ai pas réussi
