j ai des probleme avec cette carte pci qui supporte 2 hdd, je na rrive as a la faire marcher sous debian.
avec knoppix pas de pb.
 
dans le menuconfig j ai active ca :

et ensuite apres avoir reboote
j ai ce fichier dans /lib/monkernel../driver/ide/pci/hpt366.ko
 
je fais modprob hpt366 OK
mais comment savoir quel sont les disques concerne dans /dev/hdx ?
j a essayer de mounter hde1 hde5 (c etait c nom avec knoppix) mais rien a faire.

pb de memoire ! 1 gb d installer 800 de detecter :/
et usb car ma souri intel mouse explorer 3 ne s allume pas, j utilise une ps2 a la place.
pas de trace de la carte hpt372  :cry:

en fait je crois que mon option du moduel ne sert a rien, c est un carte pci rocket 133 par un chipset inclu sur la mobo :/

qd tu fait modprobe, il met quoi dans la console, les logs, etc .. ?
Ta carte c'est pour faire du raid, du sata, autre ?
 
As tu essayé d'autre peripherique ? comme scd ? ou autre ? hdb etc
 
De toute facon si elle marche sur knoppix y a pas de raison
