ma carte est pas detectée, elle est en Vesa  
par contre mon ecran oui  
 
Mon problème s est que je suis à 60hz sous X  
Je voudrais mettre à 100hz comme sous windaube merci d'avance

Moi, j'ai réussi seulement problème, le taux horizontal n'est pas bon et ça fait une bande grise à gauche de l'image   -> Retour à 85Hz...

problème modeline -> xvidtune
 
permet de les créer à chaud sous X

ca viens peut-etre aussi de ta carte pas détecté ?? dans ce cas update a la mdk9.1 ou update de xfree en 4.3

ma carte n est pas detecte c est une radeon 9700 pro  
alors je l ai ds le xxx !
Je voudrais pas niquer mon ecran avec xvidtune

xvidtune si tu as les spec de ton ecran y a pas de prb, pour ta carte c le driver d'ATI (2D + 3D) ou alors Xfree 4.3 (2D)

dans ton fichier de config tu as une ligne :
 
VertRefresh 85.0-100.0
 
qui correspond au rafraichissement, si tu veux du 100Hz PARTOUT tu met :
 
VertRefresh 100.0
 
 
 
faut evidement que dans toutes les résolutions utilisées ton écran supporte le 100Hz

comment on change de modlines ? ou plutot de resolution car je viens de faire la modif

tu dois éditer XF86Config-4 ou XF86Config dans etc/X11

ok ca change pas de taux de refresh  
faut faire comment exactement
