salut les gens
je viens de changer de carte graphique, j'ai opté pour une geforce 6600 gt (nvidia). avant j'avais une geforce4 et je n'avais pas de souci.
à l'install de la mdk10.1, je n'ai pas réussi à configurer correctement mon écran (plat, de marque LG modèle flatron L1720P) et ma carte graphique. je me suis dit c'est pas grave, je vais installer les drivers NVIDIA et ça marchera.
j'installe donc les drivers, je fais la modif qui va bien dans /etc/XF86Config (c'est à dire que j'ai mis nvidia comme driver et j'ai ajouté l'option NvAgp 1). mais quand je veux lancer startx ça déconne, j'ai un message qui me dit unable to open /.../.../libglx.a, puis no screen found.

dans /etc/modprobe.preload tu as une ligne nvidia ?
Si ca marche pas passe moi ta 6600GT je la bichonerais ( Troll Gourmand )

tu la rajoutes ; comme ça le module nvidia sera chargé à chaque démarrage.

pour le charger immédiatement :
modprobe nvidia en root

sous MDK 10.1, c'est un lien symbolique vers XF86Config :

j'ai fait ça.
bon désormais x se lance mais reste noir, donc je pense que mon moniteur est mal configuré. je poursuis mes investigations.

j'ai essayé d'utiliser xorgconfig mais ça ne marche toujours pas. je vais essayer avec tes options Dark.
