i bough pci usb card2.0 and when always i connect everything in my pc just cold and i need to restart him.  
 
im alredy format and install win with sp2, but the plobem still happen.  
 
i dont know what is but i've alredy tried to disable all usb ports onboards, and change PCI slot.  
 
anyone tells me this is IRQ problem.anyone knows?

I know that in some mobos, there is a compatibility issue with USB cards. Why buy it if you have onboard USB ?

 
onboards usb is 1.1... and i need 2.0 for ipod, digital cam, etc

Well i don't do you have some jumpers on the card ? maybe you can give us the model, so we can try to look for information on it !

Try to update your motherboards bios too, and install the board drivers ! from http://www.viaarena.com/default.as [...] D=2&Type=1

 
its a generic "Encore PCI Controller Card the model is ENLUSB2-5PCI-BR"
so and the bios upgrade, i don't know how i do that... im scared with bios upgrade =p

btw, is not a IRQ conflict?
