This problem may indicate that there are open files on the hard disk. Shut down and restart OS/2. If this does not resolve the problem, run OS/2's CHKDSK program. As a last resort, delete the offending file. This error message can also appear when you try to perform a CHKDSK operation on the partition from which PartitionMagic is running. Try running PartitionMagic from another partition or from a diskette.
