me suis fais une frayeur avec STeam et la recuperation d'un troyen (voir la: http://forum.hardware.fr/hardwaref [...] -67697.htm )
 
en regardant un peu la tete de mon PC, j'ai trouvé un fichier nommé "~" sous c:. est-ce normal? je prefere poser la question avant de le supprimer et de planter mon pc (j'ai tenté de l'edité en ASCII mais c'est illisible donc ca doit etre du binaire je suppsoe)

J'en ai eu un, pas plus tard qu'avant-hier ! Il est apparu sur mon bureau.
Direction poubelle sans hésitation et mon PC continue de très bien marcher....

Apparement du aux mises à jour Windows.

After installing an OE update, you may discover a file named just "~" on your desktop or some other location on your hard drive. This is an automatic backup copy of the Windows Address Book (WAB) used by OE. The file has always been created automatically by OE and saved in the same folder as the *.wab file itself, with a name like <username>.wa~. A bug in an update causes the copy to be made in the wrong location and with a truncated name. You can simply rename it to *.wab and then double-click it to see that it is indeed a copy of your address book. The OE team at MS is aware of this bug and hope to include the fix in a future update.
 
Traduction et résumé : ce fichier est un backup automatique du carnet d'adresses généré par OE. Cette copie a toujours été créée dans le répertoire où se trouve le carnet d'adresses (un fichier .wab) mais suite à un bug dans un update (Patch cumulatif Outlook Express 330994), OE l'a envoyé sur le bureau avec un nom tronqué. On peut simplement le renommer en l'appelant test.wab (c'est l'extension qui compte) et cliquer dessus pour s'en rendre compte. L'équipe OE de MS est au courant et espère corriger ce bug dans un futur update.
