A PowerVR Technologies Driver Team is currently developing Linux drivers for KYRO. An initial beta driver offering accelerated 2D (X Server) and accelerated 3D (OpenGL) is expected to be ready for a public release in February 2002. No decision has been made about an Open or Closed Source release
