Insert the Vampire install CD, then click out of the autorun menu.
 
Right-click on the desktop and create a new shortcut that points the file "setup.exe" in the "setup" folder on the CD.
 
Right-click on the shortcut and choose "properties", then check "Run in Compatibility Mode" and select "Windows 98 Compatibility Layer".
 
Double-click on the shortcut and the game should install.
