Bon en me promenant sur des forum US je suis tombé sur un guide qui expliquait comment utilisé un modem USB pour jouer sur le net. Je mets cette information a votre disposition :
PS2 Network
There are two basic ways of getting this game connected, either by Broadband connection or by 56k dial up.
Firstly Broadband.
You will need;
1 PS2
1 Network play supported game (note all network play games may not support this) Using THPS 3 as an example.
1 USB Ethernet NIC adapter
Note!
THPS3 doesn't support all USB NIC devices so don't just go and buy one willy nilly, here are the officialy supported ones.
LinkSys EtherFast 10/100 USB Network Adapter USB100TX
D-Link DSB-650TX USB Ethernet Adapter
SMC EZNET-USB *2202* USB Ethernet Adapter
SOHOware 10/100 Mbps USB Network Adapter NUB100.
Once you have all of the ingredients here's what you do.
1) Power off the PS2 completely (switch off at back)
2 Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the front of the PS2 and then network cable into the USB NIC.
3) If your ISP requires you to reset or refresh your connection then now is the time do so.
4) Power up your PS2 and put the THPS 3 game in the tray. Don't panic if nothing seems to be happening at this stage, the NIC is only activated when you selet to use it.
5) Select Network Play from the menu, you will be prompted to setup the network connection. Select USB Ethernet and then Automatic if your ISP has a DHCP or set the IP & DG if you have a static IP.
6) Once this is done select Network Play again and then Internet. Select a server to play on or select create server.
7) Thats it, just play the Game.
Connection via a DUN 56k modem is the same pricipal but,
The supported USB Modems are;
Zoom FaxModem 56K USB Model 2985L
USB Pocket 56K NetSurfer NMT00700
MultiTech Systems MultiModemUSB MT5634ZBA-USB
Actiontec Call Waiting USB Modem USB56012-01CW
and in Network Play Setup, select USB Dial Up Connection. Enter User Name, Password and Connection Number.
And you're then up and playing.
Je suis trop paresseux pour traduire tout le texte mais si vous avez des questions concernant des phrases en anglais je peux essayer de vous aider.
