pas facile a trouver c'est vrai mais bon ç'est repertorié (en anglais, désolé) :
Firmware error code 455 ( MECH_SS_OUTOFLIMITS )
The MECH_SS_OUTOFLIMITS error is generated when the service station is unable to position itself properly. The error may be caused by foreign material in the service station area. For example, if the shipping tape covering the printhead nozzles is not completely removed from the printhead, the tape may come loose and stick to the service station. This can prevent the service station from capping the printheads properly and cause the out-of-limits error. Expose the service station to remove any foreign material using the following steps:
With the printer turned on, remove the Printhead Access Cover.
After the carriage moves to the left to allow access to the printhead latch, unplug the printer's power cord.
Slide the carriage to the left to expose the service station.
If any foreign material (shipping tape, or any other item that does not belong) is present in the service station area, remove it.
Attach the printer's power cable and replace the Printhead Access Cover. If the printer does not initialize properly, it may require service.
A mechanical service station (Mech SS) error such as error code 455, 456, 457, 458, 459, or 462 occurs.
SOLUTION:
Follow the steps below to correct the problem:
Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
Open the printhead access cover so that the carriage is visible.
Locate the mechanical service station tumbler, a large white gear wheel, by looking straight down into the carriage area just to the left of the carriage itself.
Rotate the tumbler by hand if possible, down and to the rear (or to the front if it is easier) until the carriage is uncapped and free to move.
Move the carriage as far to the left as possible (on the HP 2500C, open the top cover to do so).
Inspect the mechanical service station and adjacent area for paper or debris that could impede the movement of the mechanism.
Close all covers and plug in the power cord.
Turn on the printer. The carriage should move back to the service station area, and due to the distance the carriage must travel, the mechanical service station should now have time to return to the proper position.
If the error continues to occur, perform Step 1 through 8 again. If the error continues to occur frequently, the printer will require service. If out of warranty, provide STREP options on the HP 2000C, or refer the customer to an ASP for the HP 2500C.
CAUSE:
These errors occur when the carriage or mechanical service station cannot move as designed
