That refresh rate is only critical for CRTs, which repaint their screens at that rate. It can cause eye fatigue when too low and when there is interference from other 60Hz sources, like fluorescent lights. LCD panels do not repaint their screens - the images remain as is as long as the controller tells the pixel to stay on or off. You should investigate other ergonomic factors, such as glare or contrast or how long you sit in front of the screen without getting up or focusing on far away objects.
DVI or VGA on a desktop screen are not much different, if the cable is of good quality and there is no interference nearby, so that does not play a role in this.
En résumé : un LCD n a pas de balayage (pas de canon a electron qui balaye l ecran) et donc la frequence de rafraichissement ne sert pas à grand chose.
