J'ai entendu dire que les Geforce 4 TI4600 ne rentraient pas dans l'EPOX 8KHA+ !!!
Qui a des infos ???

ou j ai entendu cela, en fait c est aec certaine gefrce, est cela proviens de composants electronique tres mal place (des condos il me semble)

Sacrees geforces 4 . On a pas fini je crois avec les problemes de compatibilité .
Moi ce qui m a tué de rire hier c est qu on a recu les gef 4 MSI alors que le gef 4 est completement incompatible avec les k7t266 pro 2 .
J aimerai qd meme voir si leur carte video marche pas sur leur carte mere   .
putain des que j ai 5 mns je tente le coup

En gros certaines cartes Epox ne suivent pas la norme AGP 2.0, et donc certains éléments de la carte empeche de bien insérer la GF4 qui elle est dans la norme AGP....

Ca serait bete d'acheter une gef4 ti 4600 tres cher et de s'apercevoir qu'elle ne rentre pas dans la carte mere !!!!

Blue Highlight - The entire area between the front edge of the motherboard and the AGP and PCI connectors has a maximum allowable component height of 15.24mm. (Actually, the area described here is much larger than what is highlighted.  I simply highlighted the concerned area.)
 
The capacitors in question on the EPoX board fall within the Blue Highlighted area shown above and are therefore restricted to 15.24mm in height.  Here is a picture of the capacitors on the EPoX 8KHA we had for measurement.  The EPoX 8KHA+ we had on hand showed the same measurements

Mr. Thomas Huang, VP of Research & Development Dept. of EPoX Computer said: "Regarding the high capacitor on EPoX motherboard EP-8KHA, EP-8KHA+, it was designed to optimize the stability of a DDR motherboard. While DDR solution was first introduced in the first quarter of 2001, according to the technical information the power consumption of the DDR memory will be much higher than SDRAM architecture. EPoX's technicians decided to use switch circuit design. And the output end came important. After evaluating all the graphic cards sold in the market and ensure there was no mechanism conflicts, to keep wider tolerance in memory voltage and current, the bigger capacitors (1500μf/6.3V, LSR capacitors) was complemented to reserve big space and optimize the voltage stability. Each EP-8KHA and EP-8KHA+ even equipped with 2 of them.  
 
 
 
However according to the real experiences of using the selling DDR modules in the market, the power consumption is much lower than it was reported. In fact one 1500μf/6.3V, LSR capacitors is enough to handle it. In EPoX internal testing, the stability and overclockability is still very high without any influences."
 
 
 
By case users has difficulty in installing VisionTek GF4 Ti4600 graphic card on EPoX EP-8KHA+ and EP-8KHA, the first solution will be removing the CE6 capacitor. If users are not experienced in solder iron, they can use pliers to remove this component. If users are still confused with it or have any questions, they can contact any EPoX branch office in worldwide.
 
 
En gros ils ont mis ces condensateurs pour ameliorer la stabilité en croyant que la memoire DDR consommait beaucoup d'energie !!
Or ils ne servent a rien et pour ceux qui achete une Gef4 ils disent d'enlever un condensateur !!!

en principe Epox a une bonne reputation j'en dirais pas de meme de n'vidia !! qui se souvient de la galere des gf1 !!!!!!!

ma 8KHA+ est une excellente mobo
c nvidia ki chie a sortir des cg trop grosses et trop cheres ki ne rentrent pas sur des cm de grande mark

Non , Epox ctait juste pour faire enrager crouzi, mais je reconnais que Epox c de la bonne qualité
 
Nvidia euh ben kan g les sous je change (je suis en gef1 DDR pkoi changé pour mieux et bcp plus cher(la gef1 DDR est encore vendue 800Frcs ))..... ATI rulezzzzzzzzzzzz

Bugs&Plantages    (à la rigueur un KT266A car éprouvé et après moults évolutions enfin stable)
 
So SiS745 voire nforce(car pas trop trop cher en version sans cg intégrée (N-415 D)===>    

Perso je suis trop satisfait de mon EPoX EP8KTA3.
Même si ce n'est pas sûr qu'elle accepte les Athlons XP, j'en
suis trop satisfait.
 
Par contre il est évident que VIA...argh!
Prochaine mobo pour moi ce sera du nForce.
Qd je vois pour un premier coup ce qu'ils ont fait...
