Quelle taille de disque maxi , vous avez mis dessus ?

30 Go + 8 Go
Mais elle peut prendre bien plus. Normalement, l'ATA 33 ou 66 est limité à 132 Go.

ha ça me rassure j'compte mettre dessus . 20+80 Go ..
mais pour des questions de compatibilité j'voulais savoir si kk1 avait déja test ...

j avais une be6 , et j ai eu des problèmes avec mais disques dur udma 100 de 30 go (a cause du controlleur ) j ai dû mettre une nappe udma 33 pour que sa plante plus...
 j ai donc changé de carte mère...

mais ma question principale en fait c sur la capacité maximum supporté par la Be6  ????

tout les disques dur actuels sont udma 100, donc sans doute incompatible avec la be6 donc... a mon avis très limité ! mais sans doute que tu peu mettre des disques jusqu'a 100go,
 mais tu auras peu etre les plantages que j avais ( surtout lor de montage vidéo...)

Mon 40go (dma100) était bien reconnu..

moi aussi, mais plantage lors de montage video surtout: a cause du controlleur...  
mais c étai il y a 6 moi depuis peu etre qu il y a eu une mise a jour

vas-y les yeux fermés si tu connais les points sensibles du highpoint aucun soucis avec les disques actuels.

J'ai retrouvé çà:
 
HPT366 host adapter since each contains two functions.
 
 
Usually, when you plug the HPT366 Ultra DMA 66 host adapter into your system and
boot up the Windows 2000 system, the system will be able to detect the HPT366
Ultra DMA host Adapter automatically and ask you to install the driver for HPT366.
You can just follow the instructions promted by the system to install the  
driver.
 
Otherwise, you can install the driver by the following steps:
 
1.  Windows 2000 must be installed on the system prior to installing the
    driver.
 
2.  Close any running applications.
 
3.  Open "My Computer".
 
4.  Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
 
5.  Double click on the "Systeme" applet.
 
6.  Click on the "Hardware" button.
 
7.  Click on the "Device Manager" button.
 
8.  There is a Window listing hardware types, select the "SCSI and RAID controllers"
    then double click it.
 
9.  There is a Window listing drivers types, select the "HPT366 Ultra DMA 66 controllers"
    then click the right key of mouse.
 
10.  Double Click on the "Properties".
 
11.  Click on the "Driver" button.

16.  To Continue, Click on the "Next" button.  
 
17.  Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard. Click on the "Finish" button.

Bon ben ct juste pour dire .. que valà .. g install le 60Go ...
no Problemo    
C un IBM 60 GO GXP  , modèle de Décembre 2001
la Be-6 à le dernier bios fourni par abit sur le site officiel ..
m'a fallu 26 Min et 51 s pour formater la partition .. de 58 Go
mais ça rulez ... au poil
 
Donc actuellement sur Be-6 80Go de dd   20 + 60 ..
bientôt + ??? ki sait ..

J'ai une BE6-2 de base.
J'utilise un IBM 46Go depuis plus d'un an sans aucun problème sur mon controleur IDE UDMA 33.
Etant plein de chance, je doit avoir la seule BE6-2 dont le controleur High Point 366 provoque des écrans bleus quelque soit l'OS de M$.    
 
J'ai récement essayer avec un 80Go Western Digital d'un collègue, et ça passe comme une lettre a la poste  

pas clair ton pb tu as mis une nappe ATA33 pour fonctionner en ATA100 t'es sûr qu'il y a aps un pb là

qu'est ce quui fais que ça plante avec le montage vidéo Le HPT 366 supporte pas le flux élevé et continue de données
