Poste base a Londres - Hammersmith (sud-ouest, zone 2)
remuneration: 25k£ + primes (astreinte, resultats: 5k£ environ)
poste plutot oriente debutant/junior, on vous juge vraiment sur vos connaissances (entretien technique assez pousse).
C'est au sein d'une equipe assez sympa, reduite (10 personnes dans ce service), en coordination avec des admin sys, dba, developpeurs.

Main Tasks:
- Research and provide direction and/or resolution for end user issues that have been raised with support by client helpdesks.
- Analyse application and 3rd party software errors and determine root cause.
- Analyse operating system and connectivity errors and determine root cause.
- Research and document defects for submission to development teams.
- Routine checking of application processes and application logs for error.
- Routine checking of connectivity to production environments.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
Providing direction and/or resolution for application, systems interface, and operating system problems.
Success Measurements:
• Resolution rate of client service requests.
• Customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Corporate experience;
• Previous proven experience in a supporting web based applications.
Skills and Attributes:
• Good written and oral communications.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Works on own initiative.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Methodical and creative approach to solving problems.
• Demonstrable knowledge of:
o a UNIX-based operating system.
o a Windows-based operating system.
o web architectures.
o networking/distributed computing environment concepts
o UNIX shell scripting
o SQL
• Sound understanding of business priorities.
